The Annual Blueberry Festival
August 1st - 3rd

The festival is once again 3 days long but there are several new features this year including:

Most events including vendors, stage shows, the pie eating contest, and parking will be held in Klickitat Prairie Park just south of State St. or the Community Center on State St. The parade will be on State St. and the car show will be held on the school grounds, as always. The 5K Tail Fun Run is held on the south side of the Mossyrock Dam. To help defray festival expenses, there will be a nominal $1 admission fee for events in the Klickitat Prairie Park (except for the Friday and Saturday night concerts) for all persons 6 and over which includes parking. The parade and car show continue to be free.

While visiting Mossyrock you may want to buy some blueberries from a local farm and visit the flower fields and show garden at the DeGoede Bulb Farm. Better yet, make your visit part of a longer trip staying at one of the hotels or camp grounds along the beautiful White Pass Scenic By-Way stretching from I-5 south of Chehalis to Naches along US 12.

Welcome to the Mossyrock Blueberry Festival website

The Mossyrock Blueberry Festival is a community-led event coordinated by the Mossyrock Area Action League (MAAL), a grass roots, 501(c)3 non-profit organization working on community asset building, economic development, and poverty reduction in East Lewis County, Washington. The Mossyrock Blueberry Festival is a partnership between MAAL, the City of Mossyrock, the Mossyrock School District, the Road Rebels Car Club, and many local and regional organizations. Along with its Festival partners, MAAL would like to acknowledge its dedicated and invaluable volunteers. By all of us working together we hope to offer our visitors and neighbors an enjoyable, fun, and memorable visit to the Mossyrock area. Please check out all the great places to stay while visiting the Mossyrock area on our Places to stay page. And remember, this is the peak of the season to get those beautiful and nutritious blueberries.

All the best,
