The symbolism of the American flag represents the lives lost and the sacrifices made throughout the history of our Country. Honoring the flag is therefore a sign of respect for all those who fought and died to preserve our customs, our culture, our freedom and in our countries defense.
There will be a ceremony to demonstrate the proper retirement of the US Flag, at around noon (right after the Parade) on July 2nd, to be held at the Klickitat Prairie Park amphitheater.
WE ARE GRATEFUL TO ALSO BE ABLE TO TAKE PART IN THE MOSSYROCK FREEDOM FESTIVAL AND CONDUCT AN EXCELLENT FLAGRETIREMENT CEREMONY THAT HONORS OUR MILITARY & LAW ENFORCEMENT AND SHOWCASES THE SACRIFICES MADE TO EN-SURE OUR COUNTRY STAYS FREE. IT IS AN HONOR TO SERVE OUR COMMUNITIES AND BE INVOLVED
