Mexican Independence Celebration

Saturday September 16th, 2023
From 11am to midnight

The Dancing Ponies and a mariachi band, will be in the Parade. After the Parade, both will be performing for approximately an hour in Klickitat park. The band will be at the amphitheater, exact location of the ponies has yet to be determined.

First the kids take to the streets for a
bicycle race – participants please meet at the corner of Isbell and W State St. between 10:30am and 10:45amn.

Noon is the parade down E. State St.

Fun & Games * Bouncy House * Food & Craft Vendors * Beer Garden * DJ Music, Dance and a Dance Competition: 6pm until midnight.

The greased pole climb: 2;30PM
Piñatas: 4PM.

Soccer and other games, Dancing Ponies, Piñata’s, sack races and many more activities and awesome Mexican music throughout the day.

Then let the dancing and DJ music fill your hearts. Bring your friends to enjoy this
special day.

While Visiting Mossyrock

You may want to try some blueberries from a local farm
You may also want to visit the flower fields and show garden at the DeGoede Bulb Farm.
Have an excellent meal.
Better yet, make your visit part of a longer trip, staying at one of the hotels or camp grounds along the beautiful White Pass Scenic By-Way stretching from I-5 south of Chehalis to Naches along US 12.
